Product Innovation for Green Chemistry: an Interactive Case Study

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

High pressure laminate and phenolic board have been widely used in various applications in our daily lives. It's cheap and durable, but also uses formaldehyde as one of the raw materials. This session is to present a case study on how an alternative is achieved and lessons learnt. Every material or chemical is used for some reasons. Green chemistry requires people in different roles of a supply chain to re-think the reasons why certain product is built or certain materials are made. Product designer and supplier of this project will both present at this panel to share their experience.

This session is approved for the following continuing education credits:
  • 1 LFA General credit
  • 1 AIA LU credit
