An expert materials researcher and an experienced designer will lead an interactive session exploring the theory and practice of using Transformation Targets - actionable, strategic purchasing guidance that can align building owners, specifiers and product manufacturer efforts to eliminate high priority chemicals of concern from at least 6 building product categories. Transformation Targets can be applied to all building types, but were developed with an emphasis on affordability as part of HomeFree, a national initiative supporting affordable housing leaders who are improving human health by using less toxic building materials.

This session is approved for the following continuing education credits:

  • 1 AIA LU credits
