Accelerating the Circular Economy with Material Reuse: Necessity, Reality + Aspiration

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The most abundant resource we have for building materials are existing buildings. They represent an enormous investment of resources, energy, and labor. Reusing, and recycling those materials reduces the amount of new resources, energy and carbon we need to build and maintain our buildings. Just as we need to create new Products with Purpose - safe, durable, reusable, low carbon - we also need to repurpose the products and materials we already have. Learn how reuse reduces carbon emissions, preserves natural and historic resources and drives economic development. Explore how we can expand the universe of materials available for reuse.

This session is approved for the following continuing education credits:
  • 1 LFA credits
  • 1 AIA LU credit
