The 88,000-square-foot rehabilitation and expansion of two century-old buildings at Vanderbilt University is seeking Petal Certification. Under LBC 3.0, Petal Certification required projects to satisfy three of the Challenge’s seven Petals. The Vanderbilt team has chosen to focus on Materials, along with Beauty, Equity and Healthy & Happiness. Tour guides will share insight into the Materials Petal, including meeting the salvage requirement through craftsmanship and the use of toxin-free products.

This tour meets at the Vanderbilt Campus. The best way to navigate to this tour is by using this Dropped pin

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to the meeting spot for this tour. After the tour, attendees are welcome to explore the rest of the Vanderbilt campus but are responsible for their own transportation back to Music City Center.

This project is an active construction site and attendees will be required to wear closed-toed shoes.
