Pedal Tour: Nashville’s Music City Bikeway

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Meet at B-Cycle Station (170 5th Ave. S) near Music City Center.

From bike lanes and scenic trails to picturesque pathways, two wheels might just be one of the best ways to explore the beautiful city Nashville! Meet fellow conference goers at the Nashville B-Cycle stand for a self-guided bike tour of Nashville. Nashville’s original bike sharing system,  B-cycle tracks mileage and calories burned, as well as the carbon offset of each trip.

Nashville has many easy-riding routes within five miles of the Downtown district, which have been compiled for “The Groove,” an innovative map of easy-riding routes across Nashville

Suggested itinerary: Grab your bike outside of Music City Center at 170 5th Ave S. Head down Demonbreun St. to West Riverfront Park and ride along the Cumberland River Greenway, part of the Music City Bikeway. Follow the Music City Bikeway to the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. This 19-acre plaza is filled with historic memorials and offers a glimpse of the past, as well as stunning views of the state capitol building and downtown Nashville.

Continue on the Music City Bikeway, riding through Marathon Village, a creative community of retail, business + entertainment.  Hope of the Bikeway towards the West End to visit the Parthenon. This replica of the Parthenon in Athens stands proudly as the centerpiece of Centennial Park, serving as a monument to what is considered the pinnacle of classical architecture.

Continue across the West End to ride through Vanderbilt’s Campus, the home of the Peabody College, a registered Petal project, as well as 19 LEED-certified projects. From Vanderbilt, head back downtown to Music City Center, passing by Music Row.

A day pass for B-cycle costs $5.00 and must be purchased by the attendee. Attendees can return their bike at any B-cycle station, so join the tour for as long or as short as you would like.
